Marbelux Eco Resin Candle Vessel & Wax Sand Workshop

Join me in my new Creative Workshop Studio inside Bubbles & Bakes for a hands on workshop where you’ll create a reusable Marbelux eco resin candle vessel and prepare fragranced wax sand and wicks to complete your candle at home.

During the session you will pour your candle vessel using Marbelux by Mouldd, a water based, low odour, non toxic eco resin designed for candle safe pieces. It cures to a beautifully smooth, stone effect finish and is a lovely material to work with in a relaxed workshop setting.

Each session runs for approximately 60-90 minutes.

After pouring your Marbelux eco resin candle vessel, it will take around 45 minutes to set in the mould. During this setting time we’ll prepare your fragranced wax sand, adding your chosen scent and, if you’d like, a touch of pigment or mica for colour.

While the vessel is setting we can have a little coffee break, grab yourself a sweet treat from the counter or do a little bit of uninterrupted SoPea shopping, or simply stay for a relaxed creative chit chat or grab some fresh air before returning to unmould your finished vessel.

During your session you will:

• Mix and pour your own Marbelux eco resin
• Choose your colour, create a marbled effect, keep it minimal, or add a touch of sparkle
• Unmould your candle vessel before you leave
• Add fragrance to your wax sand
• Add pigment or mica if you would like colour
• Bag up your wax sand along with wicks to use at home

You will leave with your handmade Marbelux eco resin candle vessel and your fragranced wax sand and wicks, ready to use once your vessel has fully cured.

Your vessel will need a couple of days to fully cure before use. Once cured, simply fill it with your wax sand, insert a wick, and enjoy. You can refresh the wax sand whenever you like and reuse the vessel again and again, or give it a wipe out and use it as a little trinket dish or add a large tea light to keep using it as a lovely candle vessel.

No experience needed. Just come ready to get creative and enjoy some hands on making in my new Creative Workshop Studio.

Important Information

• Suitable for ages 12 and over. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult to assist.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before your session start time.
• Please wear clothing you do not mind getting messy. Aprons will be provided but splashes can happen.
• All materials are provided.
• Simple safety guidance will be given during the session when working with eco resin and fragrance oils.
• Free on site parking, If the other businesses are open please do not park outside their shops, there is an overflow carpark behind the studio and alternative on street parking around the business park.

Spaces are limited per session to keep it relaxed and personal.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Due to materials being purchased and prepared in advance, bookings are non refundable within 7 days of the workshop date.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please notify me of their name prior to the event.

If you need to cancel more than 7 days before the workshop, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to help.
