Fancy making your very own beautifully scented candle and matching wax melts?

Join me at SoPea HQ for a wonderfully relaxing, hands-on candle making experience where you'll discover the art of candle making, get creative with gorgeous fragrances and take home two beautiful handmade creations!

Whether you're a complete beginner, a candle enthusiast or just fancy a little creative time with your favourite people, this is the perfect excuse to switch off, have a giggle and enjoy a little indulgence.

And yes, there'll be a cheeky glass of Prosecco or Asti too! 🥂

✨ What will you be making?

Your very own artisan soy wax candle

Choose your favourite from five beautiful glass candle vessels in black, pure white, amber, frosted white or clear.

You'll learn about the different elements of candle making, from soy wax and wicks to fragrance and pouring techniques, before creating your own approximately 170g soy wax candle using premium soy wax and a cotton and linen wick.

A matching wax melt snap bar

But we're not stopping at just a candle!

Using your chosen fragrance, you'll also make a matching wax melt snap bar, with the option to add colour, shimmer or a little sparkle to make it uniquely yours.

Choose your fragrance

Explore our specially selected collection of beautiful candle fragrances, from fresh and uplifting to sweet, floral, warm and cosy.

Find your favourite and use it to create your matching candle and wax melts.

Make it personal

Your candle will be finished with its own personalised label featuring your name and chosen fragrance.

Your finished candle will be presented in a lovely hessian bag, while your wax melt snap bar will be packaged in your choice of a glassine or clear sleeve.

Perfect for gifting, although we won't judge if you keep them both for yourself!

🥂 Pour, relax and enjoy!

Once our candles are poured, it's time to let them cool and set.

And what better excuse for another glass of fizz?

While we wait, you're welcome to enjoy another Prosecco or Asti, make yourself a hot or cold drink, have a browse around our SoPea shop space or treat yourself to something delicious from the Little Wren Bakes counter when it's open.

Or simply pull up a chair, enjoy a good old chit chat and soak up the relaxed atmosphere.

There's absolutely no rush. This is your time to get creative, unwind and enjoy yourself!

No experience needed! Just come ready to get creative and enjoy a little candle making magic.

Important Information

• Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your workshop start time.

• All materials, equipment and appropriate protective items are provided.

• You'll be working with warm wax, fragrance oils and candle making equipment. Safety guidance will be provided throughout the session.

• Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy.

• Long hair should be tied back when working with candle making equipment.

• Your candle and wax melts will need time to cool and set before they can be safely packaged.

• We anticipate that your creations will be ready to take home on the day. However, if additional cooling time is needed, collection can be arranged.

• Candle and wax melt care instructions will be provided, including guidance on curing before first use.

• Complimentary alcoholic refreshments are available to guests aged 18 and over. Be sure to bring ID as we operate a Challenge 25 Policy. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.

• Our workshop space and toilet facilities are upstairs. Please contact me before booking if you have any accessibility requirements.

• Free on-site parking is available. Please use the overflow car park at the rear of our unit or street parking around the business estate. Kindly avoid spaces directly outside other business units, as these are reserved for their customers and staff.
  

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Due to materials being purchased and prepared in advance, bookings are non-refundable within 7 days of the workshop date.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please notify me of their name prior to the event.

If you need to cancel more than 7 days before the workshop, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to help.

If SoPea needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
